I am a full-time mom and wife and a part-time nurse. I have a half dozen wonderful kids - five boys and one girl from age four all the way up to age seventeen! I am fortunate not to have to work too much right now so I can mostly stay home where I belong. As my husband and I support our own children and do not receive government (ie - taxpayer) hand-outs, I am always looking for a little something I can do at home to help out financially. That's how I founded my BubblePop Shops.
My mom taught me to sew a long time ago before I had kids. I fell in love with some soft sculpture babies I saw and decided to try my hand at making my own. After a few less-than-adequate attempts, I got the hang of it and started making my adoptable BubblePop Babies. Because "human" soft sculpture dolls are everywhere, I have attempted to find ways to make mine unique. I love the bright, fun hair and eyes colors and adorable expressions! I hope you do, too!
Still, I wanted to find another product to make - something that might appeal to a more general audience. Somewhere along the line, a light bulb went off. Lip Balms! Natural, good-for-your-lips Lip Balms in a selection of yummy, unique flavors. I researched and discovered a great, creamy, luscious recipe and got to work. I began with 14 flavors and I was having so much fun, I just couldn't seem to stop! I eventually added the Whipped Body Butter and Sugar Scrub in even more fragrances so that my customers could pamper their whole bodies! I love and use all of these products on a daily basis.
I wasn't necessarily intending to add another product line, but I saw these awesomely cute bracelets that seemed to be the "thing". I knew I could learn to make them. And I did. Then I researched to find the finest quality leather and Czech glass beads in tons of gorgeous colors and finishes. The majority of those who have purchased my bracelets have come back for more!
